We understand that sometimes it’s necessary to request a refund, exchange, or cancellation of items you have purchased. In keeping with our commitment to client satisfaction, we at thowby ثــوبــي have done our best to make these transactions as easy as possible.
We allow returns, refunds, or exchanges of your product within 14 days of your order provided that the following conditions are met:
- The item should be unworn and unused.
- The item should be in the same condition as it was upon receipt and the original tags should not be removed.
- The item should be in the same packaging in which you received it.
Just create a return request by filling the return form. Process may take up to 14 days from the date of receiving your request.
Refunds will be done only through the original mode of payment. So, if you have used a credit card for your purchase, the amount will be refunded directly to your credit card.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Important Notice: Items purchased on sale are not eligible for refund.
Refunds
Once your return item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and will advise you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card within a specified number of days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund within your time expectation, please be sure to verify with your bank first. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your purchased item for the same item, please send us an email at contactus@thowby.com to explain the problem or reason for exchange.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you as the recipient of the gift, any necessary refunds will be via a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves and then gave it to you directly, any refunds will be processed through to the gift giver, and they will be notified regarding the request made for refund, return, or exchange.

How to Care for your Abaya عباية and Shayla شيلة
At Thowby we use different kinds of fabrics, ranging from delicate to normal Abaya عباية textiles, in addition some of the textile will be embellished with either our in-house handmade embroidery, or Swarovski crystals, therefore reading the care instruction will be very helpful on keeping your Abaya عباية and Shayla شيلة in the best condition.
Two important things you must consider prior to the care of your Abaya عباية and Shayla شيلة :
1- Read the instructions that you can find on the label of your Abaya عباية .
2- Use detergent that is specially made for Abaya عباية and Shayla شيلة fabric.
Additionally, there are different methods to wash and press your Abaya عباية and Shayla شيلة:
Dry Cleaning
Machine Wash
Gentle Hand Wash
Pressing / Ironing
Dry Cleaning
If your abaya عباية label says dry clean only then this means that you should strictly follow the instruction and get it dry cleaned only.
Machine Wash
It is advisable that you turn your Abaya عباية and Shayla شيلة inside out. Select cold water using the gentlest cycle available. Take your garments from the machine as soon as the cycle ends, and lay them out flat to dry.
Gentle Hand Wash
Gently agitate your Abaya عباية and Shayla شيلة in cold water, and rub any soiled areas softly with your fingers if any. When you feel confident that the garment is clean, dip the garments in and out of the water until they are no longer soapy. Lay it out flat to dry (avoid direct sun light).
Ironing Instructions:
Pressing or Ironing applies for Machine Wash and Gentle Hand Wash only. You can use either Iron or cloth steamer. You must press or iron your Abaya عباية inside out in order to avoid color changing and pressing marks. Clothes steamers are very efficient on most fabrics. It remove creases and refreshes fabric very well. Preferably please use the heated metal plate, and make sure you use the delicate fabric guard so you do not expose your fabric to too much heat.
