New month, new milestone. We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new Boutique at the Al Hanaa Center in Dubai! 

I started thowby 7 years ago with a dream: to have a multi-functional showroom, boutique, and atelier all in one place. Through every new launch, collection, event over the past decade, I kept working toward this goal. My dream. And this past week, I finally realized it, fully and exactly the way I first envisioned it. 

The opening of our showroom and atelier marks an important landmark in thowby’s journey as a brand. The timing is just right and fits seamlessly into the roadmap I set to expand thowby’s presence in the global abaya market and will set the stage for even more exciting developments in the near future. This moment strengthens my belief in the idea that when the timing is perfect, things just align naturally with your vision. I’m immensely proud and, to be honest, quite emotional too. 

This new chapter is a testament to all the hard work my team and I have put in and the opportunities we have seized in these 7 years. Built in 1995, Al Hanaa Center is one of the best-known malls in Dubai. It is a one-stop destination for high-end shopping across categories, from haute couture to jewelry. Being located in this prime space means thowby stands among some of the best brands in the country, which elevates not just our pride but also our presence in the fashion industry. It will allow us to leverage thowby’s brand name at a higher level in the market.

thowby’s new showroom is more than just a physical space. We are hoping for it to shape up as a focal point for our brand, where the online and offline businesses merge to offer clients an enhanced retail experience — whether they prefer purchasing abayas in-person or buying abayas online. This multi-channel approach will help you, as much as it will help us, settle into a more seamless and complete shopping experience. 

Client care and communication, as you would know by now, is priority #1 at thowby. We have always lived up to it, and now, are excited to take it up another notch with our client-facing showroom experience. I’m being completely honest when I say that one of the aspects I am most excited about is the opportunity for more face-to-face interactions with our clients. 

The attached atelier is another high point. Safely cordoned off from the main store to avoid any interference in your shopping experience, the atelier is still easily accessible for any alterations or customizations you may need. Our entire team will be on standby here — including the master couture/tailor — to assist you with special requests for your abaya order. Not only will this arrangement allow us to provide you exceptional service, it will also hopefully be the stage for us to build deeper relationships with all our clients.
